"Looking at the datasheet for the suggested PChannel FET (BSS84), the continuous current draw is -.13A?"
Why is it +/-? Does the current not flow from Drain to Source?
This question has come up a couple of times for various MOSFET parameters. Both times it has been because of something stated in the "Absolute Maximum" section of a data sheet.
The purpose of the "Absolute Maximum" section of the datasheet is for conditions that will knowingly damage the component. So while you might expect current only to be 130mA in the "positive" direction, an Absolute Maximum of "-130mA" says it'll damage it.
In other words, if a fault condition or bad designed allowed current to flow in the wrong direction, it could damage the part.
